Inspired by the quintessential romanticism of our favourite women characters Scarlett O’Hara from Gone with the Wind and Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice, our new collection – Dahlia Dreams – features woven florals, delicate stripes and flirty frills in soft earthy shades of clay and mud.

We love the great outdoors where nature still thrives and time tiptoes imperceptibly! Imagine an ancient pond with muddy waters, floating fuchsia flowers bathed in warm sunshine, the fragrance of wet clay and earth… Think a soft natural palette - mild shades of coral, faded tangerine, light wine…

We bring you the charm of the countryside yet again to inspire slow living. Walking amidst meadow paths of a prairie or a winding artery on a hill blanketed with thick undergrowth. The breeze flutters in the seams of your romantic maxi or a grapevine tugs at the hem of your lawn dress. That bubbling of joy and the inner giggle!

To bring this romance of Nature alive, we have used the finest Jamdani cotton with interwoven motifs of flowers, natural linens in faded rose and glowing pink silks. They are thoughtfully handcrafted into flowing maxis, delicate midi dresses and overlays.

This winter, we bring you feminine and charming maxi and midi dresses in azure blues and deep ecrus. Raindrops on the Nile uses high quality handwoven cotton silks and pure silks with subtle raindrop motifs, block prints and hand embellishments to give theses dresses a nostalgic aura.

This collection uses India’s heritage textile, Jamdani to fashion easy, sublime and ethereal garments. Jamdani is a form of loom embroidery with intricate, opaque motifs woven over a fine muslin base. The process involves skilfully fashioning and interlacing geometric motifs while hand weaving the muslin fabric without any loom attachments. Singular in their exquisiteness and beauty, Jamdani fabrics are acutely labor and time-intensive. A craftsman may take months to weave a small quantity of the refined cloth.

Staying true to our minimalist aesthetics and taking our inspiration from some immaculate flowers in nature such as water lilies, geranios and irises, we have designed delicate, airy and intricate motifs on the finest khadi muslins. The silhouettes are breezy and loose evoking the carefree spirit within you. Add them to your wardrobe for that special occasion or feel free and spirited in them all day long.
