How can I place an order?

You can visit our webstore www.bunastudio.com and place your order of choice. If you want to purchase a particular product, click on the desired size and add it to cart. If you want to add length customisation to it, please use the drop-down menu to choose desired length.

If you wish to purchase another product you can go back or use the menu to visit the desired collection/product page. After you have added a product or products to your cart, you can check out, where you will need to fill your email, phone and address. In the end you will be directed to the payment page where you can complete the order.

Where are you based?

We are from New Delhi, India. We ship all over India via Blue Dart and we ship worldwide via DHL Express, Aramex and other carriers. Our physical store is located in New Delhi.

What do I do if my payment is not going through?

We use Razorpay Secure to process domestic and international payments on our website. If the gateway does not respond or shows as payment failed, you can get in touch with us on care@bunastudio.com. You can also try using another debit/credit card. Often payments fail due to the following reasons –

  1. Card issuing bank sending the decline code. This means that the bank which has issued your debit/credit card is not validating the payment. You can get in touch with your bank on their phone banking helpline and request them to allow the payment to go through.
  2. Authentication failure. Please check that you feed in correct authentication values (numeric, alphabetic or alphanumeric) when intimated from your bank while attempting the payment.
  3. International bank networking failure. Sometimes international payments fail because the card issuing bank declines it for being an overseas payment. You can get in touch with your bank on their phone banking helpline and request them to allow the payment to go through.
  4. Card is not approved for international payments. If you are attempting the payment from outside India and the payment is failing, please check that your card is valid for making international payments. You can activate the same either by calling the phone banking helpline of your bank or through the bank’s internet banking or mobile banking.

How long will it take to deliver? Where is my order?

We are a make-to-order brand and make every garment fresh upon receiving an order and then ship it. At present our delivery timeline is 14-16 days including shipping time (domestic or international). Ideally, we process all orders within the promised time. However, there may be a little delay sometimes since Buna follows a predominantly hand-intensive production cycle which is slow in nature and includes hand weaving of the textiles on traditional pitlooms, hand block printing, hand embroideries and hand finishing. These processes can occasionally go through unforeseen delays due to the human factor.

We aim to bring the rich heritage crafts of India with a contemporary twist to your doorstep.  Our bespoke apparel line is based on environmentally sustainable practices. We want to bring you the finest handcrafted garments from India and at the same time ensure that in doing so, we do the least harm to our planet. 

Once your order is shipped, the shipping company usually takes around 3-7 days to deliver international orders depending on location and around 1-4 days for domestic orders.

Please note that our fulfilment timeline does not include unforeseen and not in our control delays, that is in the event of a natural disaster, war, calamity or epidemic/pandemic. In such circumstances, your order will be processed and dispatched after our production and supply chains resume smoothly when any of the above events have passed.

I have placed an order today and I need it for a special occasion, how soon can you send it to me?

We would suggest you to write to us on our WhatsApp number +91 9310164266 if you have placed an order for a specific occasion, informing us about the same so that we can keep a track of your order and ensure its timely delivery.

If you need express shipping for your order within a day’s time in India or 2-3 days’ time overseas, you can call us/email us and enquire about the same.

Is there a way I can get my order faster?

We process all our orders as per the timeline specified on each product page on our webstore. Since we are a made-to-order brand shipping orders within 1-2 days is subject to availability of stock, which is rare. If we have the product available with us, we would be happy to send it over.

I placed an order for the wrong dress or wrong size, can you change it for me or can you cancel my order?

Yes, you can change the size or the dress within the first 3 days after placing an order. Please write to us at care@bunastudio.com or WhatsApp us on +91 9310164266 to request change of dress or size.

Please note after an order is placed on the online store, a customer can ask for cancellation, refund and customisation/changes within first 3 days. Buna is a designer label and works on a ‘made to order’ model, which means we make every garment fresh upon receiving an order and do not stock it beforehand. Once an order goes into production, customisation or cancellation/refund is not possible. From the textile weaving to the final stitch in a garment, our production is labour and hand intensive; which means that orders already underway cannot be altered.

Do you ship in my country? Which shipping company are you working with?

We are based out of India and we ship to all countries worldwide.

For international shipments we have partnered with DHL, Aramex and other carriers. In India, we ship through Blue Dart, Delhivery or DTDC.

What are the shipping charges? What are the shipping charges for international orders?

We offer free shipping for all domestic orders. The cost of international orders depends on the volume of the shipment and the serviceability area. The shipping charges are automatically calculated at the checkout page while placing your order. Please see list below to check shipping charges in your country.

1. Shipping within India is free.
2. Shipping charges to Middle East vary between INR 1,500 to  INR 2,500. Shipping is free for orders above the value of INR 40,000.
3. Shipping charges to Europe and UK vary between INR 2,500 to  INR 3,500. Shipping is free for orders above the value of INR 40,000.
4. Shipping charges to Australia and New Zealand vary between INR 3,000 to INR 5,000. Shipping is free for orders above the value of INR 40,000.  
5. Shipping charges to South East Asia, Japan and South Korea vary between INR 2,000 to INR 3,000. Shipping is free for orders above the value of INR 40,000.
6. Shipping charges to the US and Canada vary between INR 2,500 to  INR 3,500. Shipping is free for orders above the value of INR 40,000.
7. Shipping charges to Russia and Mexico vary between INR 5,000 to INR 10,000. Shipping is free for orders above the value of INR 100,000.
8. Shipping charges to South American continent and African continent vary between INR 3,000 to  INR 10,000. Shipping is free for order above the value of INR 100,000. 

The shipping company is asking me to pay extra but I already paid for the shipping why should I pay more? What is duty/tax I am being asked to pay by shipping company?

Shipping charges for doorstep delivery on your shipment are either already paid at time of placing the order or free. These details are mentioned in the order confirmation email you have received. If the shipping company is asking for a further payment, it must be the duty/tax levied by your country’s government on inward shipments from India. This is as per international trade laws and clearly mentioned on our website and prompted at time of checkout for international customers. This fee is charged by your country’s government on imports from outside your country.

So, the amount you need to pay to the shipping carrier is charged by your government as import duty/tax/vat. This is applicable for all international (inter-country) shipments. The duty/tax/vat rates vary from country to country.

Please note that when you place the order we don’t charge you the customs duty/tax/vat.

Once the shipment reaches your country, the customs authority at your destination country would charge you an amount based on the Import Duty and Tax Laws of your government. 

I don’t know which size to order?

We would suggest referring to the "Know your garment measurements" section of our size chart. In it, we have mentioned exact garment (ready) measurements of each size.

So you can pick up a well fitted garment from your wardrobe, measure it and then choose the closest size to it from our "Know your garment measurements" section.

What size is model wearing?  What is the height of the model?

The size which the model is wearing is mentioned in the product description on each product page on our webstore. You can scroll down to the end to know the model’s height and dress size she is wearing.

I want to customize the length of the dress, what length is the model wearing?

The length of each garment is mentioned at top of the product description on each product page. To choose a longer dress length, you can simply click on the 'Choose Dress Length' option and then select the desired dress length from the drop-down menu.

What should I do if I need to exchange or return the product?

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and must be returned within 7 working days after delivery. This is applicable for all domestic (within India) returns. Please note that for our international customers, returns are not always possible due to logistic issues. What should I do if I need to place a bulk order?

We offer wholesale prices for orders above 50 pieces to resellers across the world. You can write to us on care@bunastudio.com or WhatsApp us on +91 9310164266 to inquire about the same.

Do you offer customisations? How long would it take to send me with the customisation?

We offer length customisations (longer length) directly on our webstore. To choose a longer dress length, you can simply click on the 'Choose Dress Length' option on each product page and then select the desired dress length from the drop-down menu.

Besides the above, we offer customisations pertaining to size/fit, shorter dress length, sleeve length and neckline depth on request. If you wish to place a customised order, then you can contact our team on WhatsApp +91 9310164266 or email (care@bunastudio.com) and they'll help you in placing it and ensure the best fit for you.

We will take 3-5 extra working days for a customised order.

Please note that returns are not applicable on any customised products.

My card has been debited off the amount and the order is not placed/ the card has been debited twice on a single order/ I did not make the purchase as my card was stolen sometime back…

 You can always reach out to our team on care@bunastudio.com or on WhatsApp +91 9310164266 if your payment has gone through but you haven’t received a confirmation for the order. We will send you the confirmation of receipt of your payment and order.

Please check that you have entered the correct email id during checkout. If by mistake, you mistyped the email id, please let us know and we will correct it on the backend and resend you the order confirmation email. You can also check the spam folder of your email, as it might have been misdirected there.

If your card was debited twice for a single order, then it will be automatically refunded within 2-3 working days. You can also inform us about the same and we will make sure your refund is processed. We keep a check on all payments on a daily basis and any duplicate payments are automatically refunded.

If your card was stolen and you didn’t make the purchase, we would cancel the order if you come back to us within 4 days.

Are the prices mentioned on the website inclusive of Indian GST?

Yes all the prices mentioned on the website are inclusive of Indian GST.

How do I earn points?

On each purchase you make on our webstore, we reward you points based on the invoice value.  The points would be 2% of your invoice value. For example, if you shop for merchandise worth INR 10000, you’d receive 200 points in your account where 1 point = INR 1.

How do I check my reward points balance?

Log in to your store account and go to the Use Points Page.

How can I use my points?

Log in to your account and during checkout the points in your name will be automatically applied as a discount in your cart.

What are the various payment methods?

We accept Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards and PayPal to accept international payments on our web store. Within India you can also pay via other card issuers, UPI, net banking or wallets. When you select a product, add it to cart and check out, you will automatically be taken to the payment page where you can complete the order with your preferred mode of payment. Please note Buna Studio is based out of India and INR (Indian Rupee) is the default currency of our online store. If you are paying via credit/debit card from outside India then you will be charged in your currency at the current exchange rate with INR. If you pay through PayPal then you will be charged directly in USD or other international currency as per the current exchange rate on PayPal.

How do I place a COD order?

Sorry but we do not have the option of cash on delivery on our web store. To raise a special request for the same please write to us at care@bunastudio.com.

Can I pay through PayPal?

PayPal as a payment method is available only to customers outside India. Post completion of payment, we will send you the order confirmation via our online store with all details. 

I have a discount code. How to apply it?

On the checkout page feed in the code in the "Gift Card or Discount Code" field and click on apply. The revised total will be displayed on your screen.
