The Botanist

The Botanist expresses the love for plants and foliage through hand block printed illustrations of leaves, buds and small wildflowers, converted to pigment on our shades of sheer beige, mustard and ivory. The luxurious Chanderi glows rich under the effect of light and painterly prints. The layers, textures and handwork all come together to lend this collection a festive and easy vibe. The linings and slips are accentuated with lace, tiny dots and scallops peep through the foliage prints for a rich layered look.

This collection also features dresses in luxurious handwoven fabrics of India in a dusty palette of ecrus and deep blacks. We have used rich Jamdanis and soft Khadis embellished with ditzy woven hearts and embroidered flowers to create these timeless pieces.

It is the self-expression of a woman absorbed in her thoughts. It captures the nostalgia of pen pals, pressed flowers, language of the heart and the flow of all things pure and beautiful. The line seeks to revive memories of a bygone era and the romance that comes in its wake, with stripes, dots and woven heart motifs.
