Made to Order with Intention
At Buna Studio, every piece is made especially for you — only after your order is placed.
We do not mass-produce or hold inventory. This slow, intentional model helps us reduce waste, honour the time of our artisans, and offer thoughtful customisations like length adjustments.
Sustainably Crafted
Our garments are lovingly handcrafted using handwoven, hand-printed, and small-batch textiles.
Each fabric is woven on traditional wooden looms in remote Indian villages, then block-printed, dyed, or embroidered by hand using heritage techniques.
By producing only what is needed, we minimise overproduction and excess — supporting a slower, more sustainable future of fashion.
Why Does It Take Time?
Every Buna garment moves through a careful journey of:
Order Received → Fabric Allocation (Handwoven/Hand Block Printed) → Hand Embroidery → Tailoring → Finishing → Packaging & Dispatch

Because we begin this journey only after you order — and every stage is done by hand — it takes time to bring your piece to life with intention and integrity.

Order Received
Once you place your order, we begin preparing your piece with intention. Each garment is made especially for you — not from stock, but from scratch.

Fabric Chosen
We carefully select from our archive of handwoven, hand-printed, and natural fabrics.
Each textile carries a story of craft, season, and origin.

Embroidery Begins
Delicate details begin to bloom under the skilled hands of our artisans.
This stage brings texture and meaning to your garment — slowly and soulfully.

Tailoring in Progress
Your chosen silhouette is shaped and stitched with care.
Fit, form, and flow come together through thoughtful tailoring.

Finishing Touches
We refine each piece with soft linings, handmade buttons, and gentle trims.
A final check ensures your garment is perfect in feel and finish.

Packed & Shipped
Your garment is gently wrapped in a fabric bag, adorned with seed paper tags.
A postcard travels with it — carrying the quiet poetry of Buna’s world.
Thank You for Your Patience
Occasional delays may happen, especially when:
- Handwoven fabric supply is delayed due to artisan schedules.
- There’s a surge in orders during busy periods.
We deeply value your patience and support for a slower, more meaningful approach to fashion. Each piece is a collaboration of time, skill, and love — and we promise it will be worth the wait.
